Fun Home is short for Funeral Home (the setting for this graphic memoir)

Best Musical, the annual Tony Award, has been an (obvious) benchmark for plays to see in New York. (it also insures an extended run so that it is still on stage when we are in town) i.e. Book of Mormon and Matilda

We bought tickets to the show
We bought the soundtrack on iTunes

And finally, we bought the book
And you should read it
Because we will read it again and go back and mark-it-up
It is full of creativity and ideas
(makes us want to write a graphic novel)

These conversations provided a measure of our faith – a talk with my dad’s brother included the miraculous story in the book Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy’s Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back (Lynn Vincent and Todd Burpo)

This book meets both of my criteria of being a Best Seller and being Made into a Movie

That little voice inside of me (which is often wrong) sez this is too incredible, convenient, syrupy and perfect(but did I say, “I am frequently wrong”?)

The Movie does not lack a credible all-star cast
